It's been 16 months of planning and prepping for the big day and its coming down to the wire. Two months until the most important day of my daughter's life and I can honestly say that up until now it has been stress-free and a lot of fun.
Meagan decided very early on that we would make everything that we could. The reason was two-fold; to save money and to add that personal touch.
Our first project, of course, were the wedding invitations so once a color and a theme was chosen I made the simple but elegant invitations. Now that they have all been delivered to close family and friends I wanted to share them with you.
We did these cute little invitations for the wedding party to attend the Rehearsal Dinner.
I used the Stampin' Up edge die and cut all the flaps of the envelopes.
We then sealed them with red wax and a double heart seal.
Everything was very simple and cost effective to make and the most important thing was that Meagan loved them.

Absolutely Beautiful!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
The invites are DARLING and elegant.
About this time last year - we were celebrating my oldest's wedding day. We also made quite a bit of the wedding "stuff."
Congrats!
Hi Val, gorgeous and elegant invitations, but I wouldn't expect anything less from you. My daughter Leslie, is getting married Feb 23rd in Toronto. I made the invitations and did them in both English and Spanish. [They wrote the Spanish text] It seems just a short time ago, they announced they were getting married and now the time is almost here. All set and ready for the big day. Very exciting for all concerned. Enjoy this precious time in our lives, in a blink of a eye, it wll be over and leave us with wonderful memories.
