Karen at My Desert Cottage is again hosting her "Where Bloggers Create" Party and this is my third year participating. I love scrolling through everyone's creative spaces and meeting new people.
Head on over to Karen's Blog to see a list of the participating studios. Grab a coffee, sit back and enjoy the show!
As most of you know, I am fortunate to be able to have two studios in my home. One for my crafting and the other to run my business Sun 7 Designs. This year I will be showing you my sewing studio. This is where I create my custom designed personalized Minkee baby blankets.
I hope you take the time to browse through my photos as I have added a few new things since last year.
My studio is always a work in progress as I am a flea market and garage sale junkie and I'm always finding new and exciting things to fill the room.
I have over 100 spools of ribbon to create my Softie (Baby Taggie) blankets
and I'm always on the look-out for colourful and unique ribbons.
One of my Softie (Taggie) blankets. They seem to be the "in thing" right now!
16"x10" with 16 sensory interactive tags and a removable teething ring.
I currently have 35 Minkee Dimple Dot fabrics in stock
Baby Cadence loves her new personalized Minkee blanket.
Loving my new turquoise cart from Ikea.
It sits beside my machine that I use to sew the blankets together.
And... holds more fabrics and supplies for my Softies.
This is the inside of my closet and it doesn't always look this tidy!
Entrance to the sewing room.
This cute little basket is a recent garage sale find!
Just a few of the 200+ spools of thread that I use to embroider my blankets.
An extra sewing machine, cause a girl can never have too many machines,
and more fabric storage drawers.
I use this Ikea CD stand to store all my fat quarters for my quilting projects.
Love my doll's pram and this cute little pillow that I purchased in Las Vegas with my favourite quote.
Just a few of the mannequins that I collect.
I recently re-covered that large one in the corner as she was in desperate need of a makeover.
I have won ribbons at the local Calgary Stampede and Spruce Meadows.
I love this printers tray that I purchased at an antique store many years ago.
Love my collection of dress mannequins.
Many thanks to Karen for hosting again this year. I'm off to check out some other creative spaces. Thanks for stopping by. This year I am giving away this package of 5 fat quarters, a canvas journal cover with journal and these cute sewing themed buttons. All you have to do is become a follower of my Blog and/or "like" my Facebook Page. Leave me a comment and your name will be entered into the draw twice.
Some of you may know that I live in Calgary, AB where the devastating floods occurred just last month, so for the month of July I am donating $5 from each order to the Canadian Red Cross Disaster Flood Relief. As of today's date I have raised $85. Thank you to those of you who have placed orders and supported such a great cause. If you would like to order your own custom designed personalized baby blanket please check out my website at www.sun7designs.com or send an email to sun7designs@shaw.ca. Many thanks!

Your studio is lovely and you create such wonderful little blankets there. Thanks for letting us visit! Sue
A nice big space, Valery! I love all your mannequins. I would love to get a large size one, but just don't have room in my small space. I do have two small ones though and I really enjoy looking at them when I'm sitting at my sewing table. Thanks for sharing your space!
Great studio tour, very enjoyable! Thank you for your generosity and the opportunity to participate in your lovely giveaway, I am your follower now :)
I love your space and creations.
Your commitment to help others is admirable. One of the many reasons I love Canadians. Of which I am proudly one :)

Great space to work in and I like how you used different things to both store and to display the threads (the wire basket and the old printers letter case). The dotty fabric is so sweet, have to look for some (want to get in to sewing more and learn a way more about it)... Great tour, thank you so much for sharing your space.
PS, and your grand daughter look so comfy with her new blanket.
Your studio looks great. Thanks for the giveaway. ameliab555[at]gmail[dot]com
I liked you on FB. Nice space, I wish our home was big enough to allow me a crafty space.
What a great room - I love the brown multi-drawer cabinet and the printer's tray! Your creations are lovely, thank you for the tour!
