Dance in the Rain

When I made the decision to just work part-time outside of the home, I decided to focus my "extra" time on my family, my hobbies and me. One of the many things that I promised myself I would do was start a blog. It's taken me two years but I'm finally taking the plunge and inviting all of you to follow along with me... on my joys, my journeys and my loves.

For those of you who know me, you know that I love quotes and lyrics to songs. I have many favorites and the ones that I fall in love with usually pertain to a moment either past, present or future in my life. One of my favorite quotes is "Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." It speaks volumes to me. Enjoy the moment you are in right now, don't dwell on the past or seek for the future, don't wait for the "perfect" opportunity to do something, do what comes naturally, enjoy the moment right now.

Today I wish each of you the opportunity to dance in the rain.

If anyone knows a sculptor who has a work that translates the quote about "... Dancing in the rain" into a form that could be placed outside please contact me bobritter1@gmail.com. I am seeking a sculpture for the front of the Dyson Cancer Center at Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie NY.
