"Take Wing" Canvas

During a very brave fight against cancer, my girlfriend's 10 year old daughter lost all her hair. When I saw these beautiful photos of her with her hair growing back I knew I had to capture this memory on canvas for her.
I used the Teresa Collins "Timeless" paper line as I wanted to feature the feminine softness of this beautiful little girl.
I added the 12"x12" layout onto a canvas and stamped around the edges.

I want her to know that she has her whole life ahead of her... Take Wing, Reach for the Stars and "LIVE THE LIFE YOU'VE IMAGINED" Caityln.

Baby Blanket Frenzy

With temperatures hovering around -28C to -38C with the wind chill factor; I have locked myself in my sewing room to work on my January rush of orders. Two weeks into January and I have 9 orders... Love it! It's so nice to be able to design and create indoors in my dream sewing room. The design creation process is so much fun as I take the time to try different fonts, sizes, colours and embroidery designs.

I usually have the television playing a girly movie in the background and I'm covered in fabric swatches and thread! Last night my future son-in-law, Jake, wanted to iron his dress shirts in my sewing room and came out with his socks covered in loose threads and fabric! Here are just a sample of the blankets I have created over the last few weeks...

And here's a stack that I finished up yesterday, ready for pick-up or delivery!

For up-to-date designs check out my FACEBOOK PAGE. I'm trying to get to 100 fans so if you enjoy my page please hit "like". If you are interested in ordering a blanket head on over to my WEBSITE.

New York... New York... Mini Album!

Just a quick peek into my New York mini album. As most of you know, I spent 5 days in NYC with 5 great friends. We labeled our trip "Six In The City" and what better way to document this memory than in a mini album. I love looking through the album and reminiscing about the fun we had. I journaled each day and took tons of photos!

I used the Teresa Collins Travel line as well as her 3-ring chipboard binder for my album.

"Will you be my Bridesmaid" Cards!

Well another year is upon us and to start it off I wanted to post these cute "will you be my bridesmaid" cards. Meagan and Jake have finalized their wedding party and each girl received a card.
These were a lot of fun to make and I love the cute little "hitchedabellafella" stamp from Stamping Bella. They have some adorable stamps and I have collected a few over the years. I couldn't wait to use this one.
