Canvas Wreath

A 14" styrofoam ring, .5m of canvas fabric, some canvas flowers and you have an easy wreath for the front door.
I tore the canvas into 2" strips to get the frayed look, inked the edges with Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap distress ink and wrapped the strips around the styrofoam ring.  Then I inked up a few pre-purchased canvas flowers and added some extra pearls to the centres and pinned them into the ring.

 A close-up of the flowers.
And...... Viola... in 1/2 an hour I had a nice wreath to decorate the front door.
I used some heavy burlap and lace for this one and love how it turned out.
